This is a firm fixed-price contract for 1,252 infrared industrial cameras for Ohio Class submarines, with delivery required 171 days after receipt of order. The government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the approved original equipment manufacturer, Avon Protection Systems, under an other than full and open competition justification. While not a request for competitive proposals, the government will consider proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis publication for the purpose of potentially deciding to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 4, 2026, and will be available electronically only through the DLA Internet Bid Board Systems (DIBBS) website.
