This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price contract which will include NSN 5306-01-185-6237, Bolt, Machine to support the weapon system 40A/Helicopter, UH-60A, UH-60L and UH-60V. This is an Army Critical Safety Item. First Article Testing by Contractor and Production Lot Testing by Government applies. This item is being procured in accordance with the following approved sources: Avibank Mfg. Inc., CAGE 84256 P/Ns 70103-08801-101 and AS299-101 and SPS Technologies LLC CAGE 56878 P/Ns 70103-08801-101 and 83067-6-101. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This is a Source Controlled Item and Procurement Note L22, Restriction of Alternate Offers for Source Control Item applies. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet id Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP. Choose the DLA Request for Proposals (RFP) / Invitation for Bid (IFB) option under Solicitations. Enter the solicitation number within the search value area and click the submit button. Solicitations are in Portable Document Format (PDF). A paper copy of the solicitation may be provided to requestors on case-by-case basis if access to DIBBS is not available. The solicitation will be made in writing and will issue on or about October 20, 2025.
