OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION APPLIES. A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) WILL BE SOLICITED FOR AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT FOR A QUANTIY OF 316 EACH. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT AN AWARD WILL BE MADE AGAINST THE OEM’S BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT (BOA); HOWEVER, A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. This item is currently identified as part number, TEK PRECISION CO LIMITED AND SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORPORATION; 70400-02264-059. Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item(s). Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Additionally, potential sources may be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets. The quantity needed is 695 each. The unit prices will be established at the time of a contract award. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
