The new solicitation is SPE4A625R0222. This solicitation will contain one NSN for a Nut, Self-Locking, Extended Washer, Hexagon, utilized on a [WSDC: Z9N] End Item: Aircraft, FA-18, A-D,E/F,G (Growler). The NSN and quantity are as follows: NSN: 5310-008071474 with a quantity of 14,210 HD. The total delivery schedule is 208 days ARO, FOB: Destination. And Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. This item is designated as a NAVY Designated Critical Safety Item (CSI). The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is on or about March 4, 2025, in accordance with 19.502-2(b) – Total Small Business Set Aside. The offeror must furnish drawings and other data covering the design, materials, etc., of the exact product cited in the PID, IAW 252.236-7001 Contract Drawings and Specifications (AUG 2000). IAW Basic Non Govt STD NASM21042 Revision NR 3 DTD 05/29/2020 Part Piece Number: P/N MS21042L3 Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
