DLA AVIATION is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for NSN: 5306-010961249; BOLT, CLOSE TOLERANC. This item is a 1/B NSN and currently manufactured by SPS Technologies, LLC (DBA Air Industries), CAGE 06725; Space-Lok, CAGE 16258; SPS Technologies, CAGE 56878; MS Aerospace, Inc., CAGE 0UCY9, under PN: SS5011-16-80A. This NSN is a Critical Safety Item and requires a Government First Article Test and Government Production Lot Test. Origin Inspection is required. Export Control certification is required. Technical Orders and Qualification Requirements are not available. Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item. Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The anticipated annual quantity is 1088/each.
