The requirement is being solicited as Unrestricted and is a 1/R Critical Safety item. Contract period is for one (1) base year with option to extend term of contract for four (4) one-year periods. Estimated annual demand quantity is 308/each per base year and each option year. Surge requirement does not apply. Required delivery is 120 days ARO. FOB Origin; Inspection/Acceptance at Origin is required. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the Request for Proposal (RFP). A copy of the solicitation will be made available via DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select Search RFPs. DLA AVIATION is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for NSN 5315-00-448-3339, PIN, QUICK RELEASE. This item is currently manufactured by Avibank Mfg., Inc., CAGE 84256, under P/N: ADP141-201; Monogram Aerospace Fasteners, Inc., CAGE 98524, under P/N: ABC5722-101. Technical Orders and Qualification Requirements are not available. Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item. Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The anticipated annual quantity is 308/each. Unit prices will be established at the time of contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 332510. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.
