Issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole sources: Lake Shore Systems, Inc. Cage 34712, contract which will include (2) NSNs to support the following operational platforms: NSN(s) 5895-01-609-6821, P/N: F10480; 5895-01-643-6135, P/N: E04222. The proposed action is intended to be awarded sole source basis with one issued cage. The proposed sole source is list above. This item is solicited as Unrestricted. Terms are FOB Origin and Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. For FDT program transportation requirements, see DLAD clause 52.247-9059 F.O.B. Origin, government Arranged Transportation and 52.247-9058, First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program-Shipments Originating Outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The contract will be effective for base year period with provisions included to extend the term of the contract up to three (3) options year period. NSN: 5895-01-609-6821, the estimated annual quantity is 53 each per contract period. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 13 each (base year only) and a total contract maximum quantity of 79 each over the 5 years. The minimum delivery order is 13 each and the maximum delivery order quantity is 53 each. Surge requirements are not applicable. Requested delivery is 90 days ARO. NSN: 5895-01-643-6135, the estimated annual quantity is 239 each per contract period. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 60 each (base year only) and a total contract maximum quantity 389 each over the 5 years. The minimum delivery order is 60 each and the maximum delivery order quantity is 239 each. Requested delivery is 110 days ARO. Deliveries will be to DLA stock locations on the east and west coast. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
