The requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. This is a 1/B item and the OEMs are: L3 Harris Technologies, Inc., CAGE 82340 and EDO Artisan, Inc., CAGE 95692, under part number 1201-416-2011. Contract period is for one (1) base year with option to extend term of contract for four (4) one-year periods. Estimated annual demand quantity is 47each per base year and each option year. This is a Navy Critical Safety Item and Higher Level Quality System is required. Surge requirement does not apply. Export Control applies. Government First Article Testing is required. Government Production Lot Testing is required. Required delivery is 381 days ARO. FOB Origin; Inspection/Acceptance at Origin is required. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item. Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The anticipated annual quantity is 47/ each.
