It is anticipated that the following SPECS will be requested for pricing for the initial contract award as cited below: CLIN 0001 –5342-00-527-2366 –JAN, NIMITZ CLASS CVN, ANODE, CORROSION, PREVENTIVE IAW BASIC SPEC NR 18001L(1) NOT 1, REV L, DTD 08/20/2020, PART PIECE NUMBER – CLASS 1, TYPE ZEP, STYLE B, 5.0 CLIN 0002 –5342-00-702-1371 –23N, OHIO CLASS SSBN (TRIDENT), ANODE, CORROSION, PREVENTIVE IAW BASIC SPEC NR 18001L(1) NOT 1, REV L, DTD 08/20/2020, PART PIECE NUMBER – CLASS 1, TYPE ZEP, STYLE B6, ½ DIAMETER CLIN 0003 –5342-00-813-6054 –23N, OHIO CLASS SSBN (TRIDENT), ANODE, CORROSION, PREVENTIVE IAW BASIC SPEC NR 18001L(1), REV L, DTD 12/15/2015, PART PIECE NUMBER – CLASS 2, TYPE ZRN0-6FTS. The proposed action is intended to be awarded as a 100% Small Business Set Aside, Full & Open Competition After Exclusion of Sources. The award effort for this acquisition is a 5 year Long Term Contract (LTC) initiative as validated during market research for these NSNs. The proposed contract will be awarded for a total of five years of performance to include a one year base year and four one year option periods for each NSN. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This solicitation is proposed to be IAW FAR PART 15 for non-commercial items. The NSNs cited above have been identified for this current action for the initial effort. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. This will be a competitive awarded contract based on the applicable specifications for these NSNs. Best value selection methods will be used for this requirement. The Government will award a single award contract for this action. The solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) by 01/19/2021. The issue date will be 01/19/2021 and the closing date is 02/19/2021.
