This agency proposes to issue solicitation SPE4A6-22-RX-497 for an Indefinite Delivery Contract for a 5 year Long Term Contract initiative which includes the following NSNs: CLIN 0001 –5305-01-119-8825 –05A, CHINOOK CH-47 HELICOPTER, SCREW, CAP, SOCKET HEAD, P/N 80630 CLIN 0002 –5310-00-559-9242 – 04F, STRATOFORTRESS B-52 AIRCRAFT, NUT, SELF-LOCKING, HE, P/N 22FT428 CLIN 0003 – 5310-01-657-0695 – 06F, HERCULES C-130 AIRCRAFT, NUT, HORZ P/Ns 80221C-1612 and SPS-N-80221 APPROVED SOURCE – SPS TECHNOLOGIES, CAGE 56878 The proposed action is intended to be awarded as an Unrestricted, Other Than Full & Open Competition acquisition. The award effort for this acquisition is a 5 year Long Term Contract (LTC) initiative as validated during market research for each NSN. The proposed contract will be awarded for a total of five years of performance inclusive of a base year and four option periods. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This solicitation is proposed to be IAW FAR PART 13.5 for commercial item. The NSNs cited above have been identified for this current action for the initial effort. This solicitation will be IAW a competitive acquisition and awarded based on the applicable part numbers referenced above for the three NSNs. Best value selection methods will be used for this requirement. The Government may award multiple contracts for this acquisition. The solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) by 3/10/2022. The issue date will be 3/10/2022 and the closing date is 3/17/2022.
