DLA Aviation-Richmond plans to issue a solicitation for a Long-Term Contract for NSN 4250-01-411-7240. Currently the only approved source is Bosch Automotive Services Solutions CAGE 45225 and only approved part number is 17800C. Item is a commercial item not associated with a specific weapon system. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, will be unrestricted and will result in a fixed price Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) which will include 1-year base and four 1-year options for a total potential 5-year contract term. All responsible sources may provide a capability statement in response to this synopsis. Upon release of the solicitation, all responsible sources may provide a quote. However, interested offerors must demonstrate that they are capable of fulfilling the entire requirement over the 5-year potential contract term to be considered for award. In addition, interested parties must obtain source approval OR provide material from the current approved sources to be considered for award. The solicitation will be issued on or around 27 JUN 22 and will close on or around 26 JUL 22. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil.
