The DLA AVIATION is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for NSN 6680-01-058-3531, Transmitter, Liquid. There are two approved sources for this item, Simmonds Precision Products, Inc. Cage 89305 under part number 391002-249 and Lavi Systems, Inc., Cage 0ADZ9 under part number T-100-F16. Technical Orders and Qualification Requirements are available. Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item(s). Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The anticipated maximum annual quantity is 280 each. Unit prices will be established at the time of contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334513. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
