This requirement is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for NSN 5845-01-643-2316, BEACON, SONAR. There are two approved sources for this item, Dukane Seacom, Inc., Cage 94970 under part number DK120/90 and Radiant Power Corp., Cage 1MXA1 under part number DK120-90. The requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. Contract period is for one (1) base year with option to extend term of contract for four (4) one-year periods. Estimated maximum annual demand quantity is 40 each per base year and each option years. Surge requirements do not apply. This is not a critical application item and higher level quality requirements do not apply. Required delivery is 205 days ARO. FOB is Origin; Inspection/Acceptance at Destination is required. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the Request for Proposal (RFP). There are two approved sources for this item, Dukane Seacom, Inc., Cage 94970 under part number DK120/90 and Radiant Power Corp., Cage 1MXA1 under part number DK120-90. Technical Orders and Qualification Requirements are not available. Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item(s). Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The anticipated maximum annual quantity is 289 each. Unit prices will be established at the time of contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334290.
