This solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract, which includes a one Year Base period with four one-year option periods for NSN 1620-011990525. The guaranteed minimum quantity for this contract is 4. The maximum quantity of the contract is 14 and applies to all the base periods combined. The part being procured is a RETAINE, FLOATING, P. I/A/W YEAGER MANUFACTURING CORPORATION 31788 P/N 3002628-1 and ONTIC ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING, 45934 P/N 3002628-1. The required delivery schedule is 559 days. This item has not been identified as CSI. FOB Origin Inspection and Acceptance is Destination. DLA Aviation Richmond currently does not have approved technical data package available for this NSN. If any non-OEM source is interested in this NSN, please notify the Contracting Officer prior to the synopsis closing date. Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified. The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. The DLA Aviation is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this, RETAINER, FLOATING P, NSN: 1620-011990525. This requirement is for a Long-Term Contract with a Base year and four option years. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336413. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability.
