It is not a commercial item. Higher Level Quality Management does applies. Item cited requires data which is restricted to contractors certified by DoD to access unclassified data per DoD 5220.22M. Certification is obtained by submitting DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, to the Defense Logistics Information Services. The acquisition is unrestricted other than full & open competition. This is a sole source item coded 3B. This agency does not possess the technical data package for this National Stock Number to evaluate alternate offers. Any manufacturer, other than the approved source, Northrop Grumman, CAGE 1LTU5, interested in submitting a proposal for this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR), package for evaluation for future procurements. The SAR package will not be considered for the current procurement. SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE DLA Aviation is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for NSN 5915-01-073-0232, Part Number 049-000419, FILTER,RADIO FREQUE, for a quantity of 81 each. There is also one Contractor First Article Test for 3 units. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334413. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
