TITLE: Multiple National Stock Numbers (NSNs) / Federal Stock Class (FSC) supporting various Weapon Systems for a sole source Strategic Long Term Contract (LTC) with Transaero This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic / sole source contract which will include multiple NSNs / FSCs to support the following weapon systems / operational platforms: Harrier AV8B Gas Turbine Starter Unit/Auxiliary Power Unit (GTSU/APU) and hydro-mechanical jet fuel controls (JFC) installed on turbine engines, including, but not limited to the T64, T56, T55, JD3D and JT4. A total of 2,543 NSNs are targeted for this contract effort. It is anticipated that 11 NSNs will be priced for the initial contract award. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1. The proposed sole source contract will be issued to Transaero, Inc. CAGE 2754. The proposed contract will be for a total 9-year period of performance. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. The proposed contract will be a fixed price Requirements type contract. The attached list of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. The solicitation will be posted on FBO on or around March 15, 2020.
