This is a firm fixed-price contract for 8 aircraft component National Stock Numbers (NSNs) over an 8-year base period with 3 option years. The Government intends to solicit a sole source to the approved manufacturer, Woodward, Inc., and its exclusive distributor, but will consider proposals from other interested parties, including surplus dealers, received within 45 days of the synopsis publication. To compete, non-OEM offerors must provide detailed product data to prove equivalency to the cited items and must be registered in SAM. The Government may alter its acquisition strategy if purchasing surplus or other inventory is in its best interest.
