Introduction: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to determine if other companies are capable of manufacturing (or legitimately obtaining) NSN 5365-00-526-1974, Plug, Machine Thread. The NSN is sole source to Honeywell, CAGE 59364, Part Number 11833-7 and non-exclusively licensed to Boeing Distribution Services, Inc. (BDSI), CAGE 2N935. Estimated annual quantity is 61 each. It is expected the NSN will be added to BDSI long-term contract SPE4AX-23-D-9401. The contract was issued on an unrestricted basis and is supported by a Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other than Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Sources Sought is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for an offer. This does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government. Responses in any form are not offers and the government is under no obligation to award a contract because of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to manufacturer (or legitimately obtain) the above listed supplies are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought notice by October 30, 2024. Contract/Program Background: There is currently a Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity Contract SPE4AX-23-D-9401with Prospective Price Redetermination with BDSI, CAGE 2N935. The contract contains a two-year base period and three, one-year option periods for a total of five years. Contract pricing will be obtained for option period one.
