INTRODUCTION: DLA Aviation intends to award a sole source, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity long-term contract for Honeywell parts which are licensed to Boeing Distribution Services, Inc. (Cage 2N935). The contract will include Multiple NSNs for items including Seal Assemblies, Machine Bolts, and Gas Spark Igniters that are used on various Weapons Systems including the F-15 Eagle, F-16, and C-130 Hercules Aircraft. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than December 13, 2021. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis as supported by a Justification and Approval (J&A) for Other than Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The estimated award is March 2022. The anticipated period of performance is ten years with a two-year base period and four, two-year option periods. The contract will be awarded with an initial group of 51 NSNs, but may be expanded to include additional sole source items. CONTRACT/PROGRAM BACKGROUND: There is currently an existing long-term contract with Boeing Distribution Services, Inc. under Contract Number SPE4A5-17-D-0015 for 32 NSNs which will expire in March 2022. The contract is firm-fixed priced and was issued on an unrestricted basis. Critical Safety Items (CSI) ELIGIBILITY: North American Industry Classification System (NAICS): 332510 (Size Standard: 750 Employees) SUBMISSION DETAILS: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be emailed to the Contract Specialist, Alesia Hayes at alesia.hayes@dla.mil no later than December 13, 2021. The maximum length for responses should not exceed two, one sided, 8.5 x 11 inch pages (cover page does not count), font no smaller than 10 point.
