F135 Propulsion System Supply Chain Management & Programmatic Support
The Defense Logistics Agency is conducting market research for a potential 10-year sole-source contract to support the F135 propulsion system, with a five-year base and five-year option period. The contract would cover consumable and depot-level repairable spare parts, plus ancillary services like supply chain forecasting, for approximately 3,500 items currently sole-sourced to Pratt & Whitney and 435 items for programmatic support. Performance of services is tied to the F135 sustainment transition from the F-35 Joint Program Office to DLA Weapons Support – Richmond. The government intends to negotiate only with Pratt & Whitney but invites other parties to demonstrate their capability to support the requirement. Responses must be submitted by June 8, 2026, and no budget amount is specified.
