The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is seeking interested business parties in supporting the demand for Canned Bacon for the UGR program. (NSN: 8905-01-654-0614) DLA Troop Support anticipates issuing a soliciation for Canned Bacon under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantitty Contract (IDIQ) with an EPA. The IDIQ is a long-term contract designed to provide for an indefinite quantity, within stated limits of supplies or services to be furnished during a specific period, with deliveries or performance to schedule by placing an order with the contractor. The contract is intended for use with items for which recurring demands may be anticipated, as a means of reducing the times and expense required soliciting and making repetitive awards. Based on the indefinite quantities the award may receieve awards on unknown quantities for the award year, with a guaranteed minimum and a stated not to exceed maximum. The contract will be for three consecutive one-year tiers resulting in a three-year contract.
