Amendment 0003 is changed: FROM: Question 5: Page 4 of the SOW still requires the contractor to have EDI capability. Item I-D, Ordering System states that EDI capability is not a requirement of this contract but the offeror must be moving toward EDI functionality. Answer 5: Acceptable for EDI or Non-EDI (via FAX or Email) Question 5a: Is the contractor required to have EDI capability? Answer 5a: It’s not mandatory Question 5b: If not, what timeline is given to achieve full EDI functionality? Answer 5b: After contract award, the Awardee (vendor)’s IT team works with the DLA STORES/IT Team, and go through a testing stage to try and eliminate the errors prior to the STORES catalog live date (performance start date). C. Solicitation, Page 17: The questions period stated in ADDENDUM to 52.212-1 is extended from August 25, 2023 8 AM to September 6, 2023, 8 AM (Hawaii Standard Time). D. The closing date of subject solicitation is extended from September 20, 2023, 10 AM to September 27, 2023, 8 AM (Hawaii Standard Time). E. The following is added to Statement of Work – updated 8/11/2023 (SOW) paragraph I. INTRODUCTION C.: This acquisition is being solicited under the authority of FAR 13.5, "Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items". The purpose of this program is to vest contracting officers with additional procedural discretion and flexibility, so that commercial item acquisition greater than the simplified acquisition threshold but no exceeding $7.5 million may be solicited, offer, evaluated, and awarded in a simplified manner that maximizes efficiency and economy and minimizes burden and administrative costs for both the Government and industry. F. All other terms and conditions of this solicitation remain the same.
