Defense Logistics Agency, (DLA) Troop Support, Subsistence Supply Chain Philadelphia, is seeking a contractor with the ability to manufacture, ship, install and train personnel on a 10 kW nutraRev-Vacuum Microwave Dehydrator (VMD). This equipment is for use at the US Army Natick Soldier Systems Center. Training for personnel on the VMD is at CCDC Natick MA. DLA intend to solicit for this equipment on an other than full and open competition basis. The equipment must meet the expected utility and footprint requirements of the EnWave corporation model 10 kW nutraRev-VMD and shall include all necessary parts such as: - the pump skid, microwave section, main chamber and electrical cabinet. When submitting cost estimates, vendor must include associated cost estimates for drying baskets, trays, microwave leakage detector, complete plasma detection units, shipping, assembly, training and commissioning. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price commercial purchase order will be awarded for the requested supplies as a result of this request. Award will be based on performance, technical specifications and price.
