The Government is conducting market research and attaining information to identify contractors that are capable of performing the work identified in the attached statement of work. Key requirements of the next generation pharmaceutical prime vendor contract for the primary supplier include: -Next day delivery of pharmaceuticals to all Department of Defense/ Affiliated Partner sites within the CONUS Region (currently estimated at 400+ sites) -Next day delivery of pharmaceuticals to all Master Ordering Facilities within the CONUS Region (12-month shelf life and Delayed Delivery Orders must be accommodated) -Expanded access to specialty pharmaceuticals (must support 90% breadth and depth of day-to-day requirements) -Separate Distribution Fees for Brand/Generic and Specialty Pharmaceuticals -Ability to interface via EDI for all requested transactions (includes establishing sites, modifying sites, etc.) There is also an opportunity for the backup prime vendor. Requirements include: -Ability to interface via EDI for all requested transactions (includes establishing sites, modifying sites, etc.) -Integration of the DoD’s Narcotics Order Review and Approval (NORA) system (DEA version of Controlled Substance Ordering System) Responses for this Sources Sought Notice are required to be sent to the Contracting Officer (listed in this notice) no later than January 16, 2023 at 11:59 pm.
