The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Philadelphia, Directorate of Medical Materiel is conducting a request for information (RFI) on current industry interest, capabilities and/or new technology developments for the acquisition and delivery of medical gas in bulk and in an array of cylinders. DLA’s intent is to identify interested contractors and invite industry input for a (5) five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity or Requirements contract at Firm Fixed Prices. The primary objective of the contract(s) is to ensure availability of the medical gases and related material and services at a fair and reasonable price. The contracted items will be provided to DLA customers through direct delivery to the customer within the Contiguous United States, District of Columbia, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam at the prices established by the resultant contract. DLA Troop Support is seeking to identify possible interest and sources that can acquire and deliver bulk liquid and cylinder compressed medical gases including Medical Air USP, Oxygen USP, Carbon Dioxide USP, Nitrogen NF, Nitrous Oxide USP, Helium USP, Hydrogen UHP, Argon UHP, Lung Diffusion, and specialty medical gas mixtures and related material, rentals, and repair services. The government’s estimated requirements are at Appendix A and draft Statement of Work is at Appendix B. THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. THE SUBMISSION OF PRICING, CAPABILITIES FOR PLANNING PURPOSES, AND OTHER MARKET INFORMATION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AND ALLOWED UNDER THIS RFI IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) FAR 15.201(e).
