The vaccines shall be a p... The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is soliciting for the supply of Southern Hemisphere Influenza Vaccine. Approximately 60,000 doses are included in this requirement. The vaccines shall be a pre-measured 0.5 ML dose, each dose shall be pre-filled in a commercially available syringe for intramuscular administration in healthy individuals aged 6 months and older. The vaccine shall be FDA-approved and ACIP recommended. The formula for the vaccine shall be determined by the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee. Other specification data is included in the solicitation. Successful contractor must have FDA Approval. National Stock Numbers shall be established at time of award. A definite quantity contract is proposed. The annual estimated quantity is 60,000 doses. All quantities shall be delivered to the Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. The contractor shall be capable of delivering 100% of the requirements by April 15, 2022. This delivery schedule is the preferred delivery schedule. Other delivery schedules will be considered.

The Defense Logistics Agency- Troop Support is seeking sources capable of providing Southern Hemisphere Influenza Vaccine. Shall be a quadrivalent vaccine, licensed by the FDA, intended for active immunization for the prevention of influenza for the Southern Hemisphere. Shall meet the minimum formula for the influenza vaccine as determined by the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee. Shall be a pre-measured 0.5 ML dose, each dose shall be pre-filled in a commercially available syringe for intramuscular administration in healthy individuals aged 6 months and older. Shall be free of thimerosal or other preservatives. Shall be shipped refrigerated between 2° and 8° C. The vaccine must not be frozen. Shall be one package containing 10 pre-filled syringes as the unit of issue. Product shall be both FDA Approved and ACIP Recommended. DLA Troop Support has an annual estimated requirement for Southern Hemisphere Influenza Vaccine of 60,000 doses for the 2022 season. The vaccine shall be delivered to the Defense Distribution Center (DDC) in Susquehanna, PA. This is a request for information (RFI) and does not commit the U.S. Government to issue a solicitation, make an award, or pay any costs associated with responding to the RFI.
