Tablets shall be in accordance with the specification and requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and have an FDA approved shelf life of no less than 120 months. The unit of issue for the product is packages. One package shall contain 10 immediate containers in protective sleeves, each containing 21 individually sealed tablets (210 tablets), together with a desiccant, as specified, constitutes one unit. A firm-fixed price requirements type contract is proposed. The annual estimated quantity is 36,000 packages. The quantities indicated are annual estimates only. The contract will have one (1) base year with four (4), one (1) year option periods. Ordered quantities shall be delivered to the Defense Distribution Depot, New Cumberland, PA within 90 days after receipt of order. The solicitation is anticipated to close on May 28, 2020.
