The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support has a requirement for the supply of Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine (JEV), NSN 6505-01-607-7018. The vaccine shall be purified, inactivated, Vero Cell culture derived, contain no stabilizers, Thimerosal/Preservative free, Latex free, licensed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), suitable for intramuscular administration and intended for active immunization against Japanese Encephalitis disease. The vaccine shall be a sterile 0.5 ml suspension in a pre-filled syringe (Type 1 glass) with a plunger stopper (chlorobutyl elastomer) with or without a separate needle. The vaccine must be approved by the United States FDA for administration to persons 2 months and up. The proposed contract will be a one (1) year base and two (2) one-year options firm-fixed price indefinite quantity contract. The requirement for the base year is 370,000 doses minimum and a maximum of 420,000 doses, 320,000 doses minimum and 400,000 doses maximum for option year 1, and 250,000 doses minimum and 330,000 doses maximum for option year 2. Ordered quantities shall be delivered to the Defense Distribution Depot Susquehanna. Delivery is to be FOB Destination and delivered within 120 days from date of the delivery order. All responsible sources may submit a proposal and shall be considered by the Agency. The successful contractor shall have FDA approval to sell JEV before award of the contract. Solicitation SPE2DP-19-R-0112 is expected to be issued on or after December 11, 2019 and can be found on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/.
