The action being approved is the ability to solicit for DLA requirements on an Other than Full and Open competition basis. The supplies to be acquired are Cook Medical cardiovascular products that fall into the following product categories: Stents and Non-Biliary Stents, Abdominal Stents, Balloon-Expanding Stents, Drug Eluting Stents, Self-Expanding Stents, Thoracic, and Visceral procedural packages that will be delivered Just-In-Time (JIT) for surgery, through Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD), and consignment. The cardiovascular procedural package includes the product, instrumentation set, and auxiliary products needed for surgery. The proposed acquisition will result in a five-year Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity contract. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, Medical Supplier Operations, is the contracting activity.
