The action being approved is the ability to solicit for DLA requirements on an Other than Full and Open competition basis. The supplies to be acquired are Stryker Orthopedic Hip, Knee, Upper Extremity Reconstruction (UER) and Trauma procedural packages that will be delivered Just-In-Time (JIT) for surgery, through Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD), and consignment. The orthopedic procedural package includes the implant or trauma product, instrumentation set, auxiliary products needed for surgery , and, depending on the type of injury, orthobiological products. The proposed acquisition will result in a five-year Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity contract. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, Medical Supplier Operations, is the contracting activity.
