The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is seeking sources capable of providing disposable chemotherapy gowns for the Department of Defense. The vendor must be capable of supplying the following product that is resistant to permeability by chemotherapy drugs: Disposable Chemotherapy Gown. The vendor shall supply gowns with the following characteristics: disposable, made of polyethylene-coated polypropylene (or other Poly coated laminate material), long-sleeved, no seams on front of the gown, back closure, closed cuffs and resistant to permeability by chemotherapy drugs. USP 800 compliant gowns that pass permeability testing by either ASTM F73912 or ASTM D6878 are preferred. This is a Request For Information (RFI) and does not commit the U.S. Government to issue a solicitation, make an award, or pay any costs associated with responding to this announcement. All submitted information shall remain with the U.S. Government and will not be returned. Your response to this RFI may be submitted electronically in pdf format and emailed to david.zarenkiewicz@dla.mil and ketan.datta@dla.mil. Please provide specifications of the offered product and include the following information with your response: 1) Product availability: How many items are currently available to be purchased? 2) Production capacity: How many items are being produced for sale per week? 3) Lead time: How long from order placement to delivery (estimate)? 4) Country of Origin: Where are these items manufactured? 5) Price: Please provide pricing for all available items.
