DLA plans to issue a national requirements contract for Fentanyl Citrate Injection Solution in multiple vial/ampule sizes and pack configurations, competed among qualified domestic manufacturers using domestically manufactured APIs and final dosage forms. The resulting firm-fixed-price, requirements-type contract will have a one-year base plus four one-year options and establish a national supply source for DoW, VA, Indian Health Service, and Bureau of Prisons customers through DLA and VA prime vendor programs. The item will be solicited as a commercial item under FAR Part 12, with annual usage estimates provided in the Schedule of Supplies.
