The Medical Equipment Corporate Exigency Contract (CEC) for the group of Patient Movement Items (PMI) Program is designed to provide sustainment material to meet the Military Services' requirements in times of contingency operations. Contingency operations include providing logistical support to military operations, humanitarian and emergency or urgent relief efforts performed under the authority of the military. CEC awards establish long term partnerships with manufacturers to provide this sustainment support. The intent is to buy access to material by partnering with industry versus purchasing material and storing in Government facilities. We are buying access to aeromedically certified defibrillator/monitor-recorders. In order to be considered for award, proposed items must be aeromedically certified by all services at time of solicitation closing. The award will include 1 base year and 4 one-year option periods.
