In order to optimize patient outcomes, scale efficiently, and reduce costs, the Defense Health Agency (DHA) seeks to modernize, standardize, and transform legacy local imaging capabilities into enterprise imaging capabilities, removing imaging information silos and enabling efficient new enterprise workflows. Cloud native software as a service solutions with well-defined standards-based application programming interfaces (API) are required due to complex and changing interoperability requirements and need for centralized agile configuration management, cybersecurity controls, and operational sustainment across the entire Military Health System and Federal Healthcare information technology infrastructure.
