This item is made in accordance with with Forest Service Specification 5100-605 Revision B, dated March 1, 2021, and MTDC Drawing 1072 revision dated February 24, 2021. This item shall be third party certified as being in compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 1977, Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Fire Fighting. Proof of this certification shall be presented at the time of award and with the First Article submission. A prerequisite for NFPA 1977 certification includes ISO 9001 certification. Known sources for NFPA 1977 certification include: Underwriters Laboratory at http://www.UL.com Safety Equipment Institute at http://www.seinet.org An approved Certification Organization shall certify that the item meets the requirements of NFPA 1977. First Article Testing Sample is a requirement. All deliveries are to be made to Tracy, CA. First Article samples are due 90 days after date of award. First Delviery is due 150 days after FAT approval. Each delviery of 1,000 units is due 30 thereafter until completition.
