DLA Troop Support plans a single Firm Fixed Price Requirements Contract for lightweight hard armor polyethylene composite front/back plate sets in sizes Small–Extra Large, featuring shooter’s cut, stand-alone, non-ceramic, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene construction. The contract would have a five-year ordering period divided into five 12-month pricing periods, with an annual estimated quantity of 1,200 sets and a maximum quantity of 7,500 sets. Award will use Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procedures and require a technical proposal including product demonstration models, technical data sheets/NIJ certification, and past performance/SPRS evaluation. Deliveries will be FOB destination to 100 CONUS locations and U.S. territories, with inspection and acceptance at source, and Berry Amendment restrictions apply. The estimated solicitation release is the end of October via DIBBS.
