Tactical Body Armor
This RFI seeks market research on Berry Amendment-compliant tactical body armor, concealable compression tops, and load carriage systems. The anticipated contract is a firm-fixed-price IDIQ with five separately priced 12-month tiers. Estimated quantities include 2,650 ultra-low visibility compression tops, 2,635 enhanced tactical plate carriers, 50 modular vest systems, and 140 supplemental hard armor panels. All solutions must meet NIJ Standard 0101.06, DEA, and FBI testing requirements, and be available in both male and female cuts. Capability statements are requested to demonstrate vendor qualifications, but no pricing is required at this time.
