The Defense Logistics Agency is issuing a pre-solicitation for the manufacture and delivery of the USAF Airsave Survival Vest and Accessories, with a long-term, Firm-Fixed Price IDIQ contract spanning four years. The contract includes guaranteed minimum quantities for seven items, such as 800 vests and varying quantities for accessories, with estimated annual and maximum quantities provided. Performance will be at DLA Troop Support’s 3PL depots in Lansing, Michigan; Austin, Texas; and Pendergrass, Georgia. The acquisition uses Best Value Trade-Off Source Selection, where technical factors like Product Demonstration Models and Past Performance are significantly more important than price.
