Th... This acquisition is for “Visor, Flyer’s Helmet Clear and Neutral (National Stock Numbers 8475-01-319-8961 & 8475-01-319-8962). The item is made in accordance with MIL-DTL-43511C DATED 16 JULY 1990. This item requires Engineering Source Approval (ESA) at time of award. All material shall be contractor furnished. First Article Testing (FAT) required for this item. The solicitation number is SPE1C1-24-R-0037 and will be issued on an Unrestricted basis. The estimated release date of the solicitation is July 1, 2024. The subject acquisition will be issued as an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity Type contract with tiered priced consisting of four 12-month ordering periods. There is a Guaranteed Minimum Quantity of 1,750 each with an Order Limitation Quantity of 10,000 each. The Annual Estimated Quantity (AEQ) for Years One through Four is 2,000 each. Deliveries are FOB Destination and the destination locations are Lansing, MI, Pendergrass, GA and Austin, TX. Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. The production-lead time (PLT) is as follows: 120 days for First Article Test (FAT) submission, 30 days for the Government’s review/approval/disapproval of FAT, 150 days for delivery at a rate of up to 730 each a month. The Government intends to make an award to the responsible offeror whose proposal meets all terms and conditions of the solicitation and who submits the lowest price that is determined fair and reasonable.
