This acquisition is for the manufacture and delivery of the following item: Item Description: MBU-20/P 600 Knott 15% Neutral Gray Visor National Stock Number (NSN) & Gentex Corporation Part Number: 8475-01-537-1549 / 04D11873-3 Quantity: 6,200 each Gentex Corporation, CAGE code 97427, owns the technical data rights and is the only known firm that has the technical capability, equipment and expertise to manufacture the required items that will meet the operational and safety requirements for the Air Force. There are no Government-owned specifications available; therefore, the Government does not possess the requisite technical data to solicit for competitive offers or to evaluate alternate proposals. All material shall be contractor furnished. Deliveries are FOB Destination. Inspection and Acceptance at Origin This acquisition will utilize a “price-only” approach. An award will be made to the offeror who offers the lowest price and is in agreement with the terms and conditions of the solicitation. Offerors are advised that if they take exception to any of the terms and conditions in the solicitation their offer may be excluded from consideration of award. The solicitation number is SPE1C1-23-R-0079. All deliveries will be to the DLA Depots in Austin, TX.
