This acquisition is for the manufacture and distribution of Snap Link under NSN 8465-01-322-7433. The snap link shall be manufactured in accordance with Commercial Item Description A-A-50041D dated February 24, 2000. The solicitation number is SPE1C1-20-R-0167 and planned issue date is October 2, 2020 with a closing date of November 2, 2020. The solicitation will be issued on an Unrestricted basis to result in an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed price contract. The acquisition will include a three (3) year ordering period and will allow for tiered pricing for each 12-month tier period. The quantities to be included in the solicitation are 2,472 Guaranteed Minimum; 12,360 Annual Estimated Quantity and 37,080 Maximum Quantity. The procedures at FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items will be utilized. The Government intends to make an award to the responsible offeror who meets all terms and conditions of the solicitation and submits the lowest price that is determined fair and reasonable. Past performance will not be considered during evaluations.
