The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of the Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I), Tactical Networks Program Office (PMW 160) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to obtain information regarding industrys ability to provide a global, affordable and streamlined network IP transport service which will service ships in port and connect them to the shore networking infrastructure. The Government seeks a commercially provided, Pier Connectivity as a Service based capability based service delivery model that supports an on demand granular service level and associated business model to meet a range of operational requirements. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government.
