The purpose of this solicitation is to announce that the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Strategic Materials (SM) Directorate is seeking offers from contractors, who are currently certified under NAICS code 325180, to provide, package, and transport, either 64.5 MT Neodymium Oxide and 21.5 MT of Praseodymium Oxide or 86 MT of 75-25% Didymium Oxide to the DLA Strategic Materials Depot in Scotia, New York. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract, with a Period of Performance for one (1) 12-month base period. Questions or clarifications in response to the solicitation must be submitted NLT May 26, 2023, at 12:00 PM EST. Questions received after May 26, 2023; will be considered invalid and will not receive a proper response. Offerors shall choose and submit a completed CLIN pricing schedule for either Option A: CLIN 0001 and 0002 or Option B: CLIN 0003. The offeror shall take care to ensure that mathematical calculations are correct. The price proposal shall be submitted using Attachment C: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) Structure. Also, in accordance with FAR 15.208(a) Offerors are responsible for submitting proposals, and any revisions, and modifications, so as to reach the Government office designated in the solicitation by the time specified in the solicitation.
