Hydrostatic Test Chamber – Commercial requirement to acquire a new Hydrostatic Test Stand capable of generating 20,000 pounds per square inch (PSI) of pressure to conduct Proof, Leakage, Burst and Electrical Conductivity testing of DLA’s Customer supplied products such as hoses and valves in support of the Warfighter efforts. Please return the attached solicitation completed along with your proposal. General Requirements: Hydrostatic Test Unit must be new, not refurbished. Unit must have High and Low pressure, pneumatically driven pumps. Unit must have the ability to supply required pressures and hold indefinitely, as in no internal leakage or pressure loss to hoses, control valves, gages etc. Contractor is responsible for initial setup of test unit. Contractor is responsible for suppling operation and maintenance manuals. System must be “turnkey” after setup. Contractor must supply all necessary connectors, hose, hardware, etc. On-site training (1 day) for 5 associates at DSCC, DLA Land and Maritime Product Test Center, Mechanical Lab, VTM, Columbus, OH to be included in purchase. Initial calibration to be included in purchase and certifications provided. Overall Pressure Measuring Parameters must be 0-20,000 psi. Must include a minimum of 5 different pressure gage ranges. Anticipated gage ranges: 0-500, 0-1,000, 0-3,000, 0-10,000 and 0-20,000 pound per square inch (psi). 11. All gages must be digital if used as a standard or reference gage contributing to data collection. 12. All gages used in pressure generation or supply can be of analog type. 13. Accuracy of standard or reference gages must be 0.5% or better. 14. Overall unit dimensions cannot exceed 110” wide, 48” deep and 102” high. 15. Test chamber must have a protective and see through door/lid, illuminated and withstand testing pressures up to 20,000 psi.
