The requirement is for one Wenzel LH Generation 1512 2,000mm Y Standard Accuracy Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to include all accessories (cables, computer(s), monitor(s), stand(s) and software), installation and calibration of the CMM. The requirement also includes up to eight (8) hours of training for up to five (5) lab technicians at the DLA Product Test Center Division, Mechanical Lab, in Columbus, OH, where the CMM will be installed.

A formal solicitation will be posed at a later date. This acquisition has been identified as a sole source requirement to Wenzel America, Ltd. (33TH8). DESCRIPTION: Coordinate Measuring Machine(s) USER: Defense Logistic Agency Product Test Center Division, Mechanical Lab, VTM, Columbus, OH. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Coordinate Measuring Machine must be new, not refurbished. 2. Coordinate Measuring Machine with motorized cnc drives. 3. OpenDMIS CNC measurement software. 4. Must have scanning software/hardware installed. 5. System must be “turn key” after setting up. Contractor must supply all cables, computers, monitors, stand, and software. 6. Training to be included in the purchase price. Five (5) Lab Techs will be trained one (1) day at our facility. 7. Initial calibration to be include in the purchase price. 8. Measuring area must be a minimum of X=1500mm, Y=2000mm, and Z=1200mm. 9. Must include Renishaw PH10Mplus probe head. 10. M2 stylus kit included. 11. Able to create automatic inspection routines in the software. 12. Accuracy must be MPEe = 3.0 + L/350 microns or better. 13. Minimum 30”x30” mounting plate with ¼-20 threaded holes. 14. Must include a 42 “ monitor. 15. System must come with its own stand or desk. 16. Windows based, globally recognized OS for flexible data exporting and interface with Windows® applications .
