UPDATE NOTE1: 07/19/22: Question recieved: "note that while the SOW and RFQ indicate a period of performance which is intended to be one (1) base year followed by three (3) option years that the RFQ doesn’t seem to provide an item number for which to bid on the option years. The RFQ “Section B” (page 4) seems to only provide for one item number/ELIN (item 0001) which corresponds to a POP from 08/12/22 through 08/11/23. Is it the governments intent that bidders only submit a bid for this initial base year? If the intent is to provide a bid for the base year and the following option years please advise how the government would like a bid to be submitted for option years 1 through 3." Government Response (7/20/22): This requirement is for a Base Year and three Option Years and should be priced out in your proposal as such. Instead of redrafting the 1449 I have provided a excel worksheet ("Draft RFQ (SP470322Q0033) Proposal cost wrorksheet", in: Attachments/Links section) that highlights the base year and Option years to allow you to provide pricing data for the entire project. Please provide a copy of this pricing worksheet with your proposal submission showing the base with option year pricing .....please note on the far left column "category", I left spaces (09-11) at the bottom for you to add other costs that I may have not noted. EST) ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ This Requirement is to provide annual Crane, Lift Device and Rigging Gear (Polyester, Nylon and Chain Slings) Inspections with "as needed" authorized repairs as per the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Place of performance will be the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) located at 6090 Strathmore Rd. Richmond, VA. 23237. Department of Labor Wage Determination will be based on the location of the service provided, Chester County, Va. Partial proposals will not be accepted. The period of Performance (POP) will be a one-year base period with three following Option Years. This Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) offer which meets the requirements stated in the Performance Work Statement and Solicitation. Also refer to clauses and provisions included in this notice. The contractor must be registered in the system for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. If not already registered in SAM, go to the SAM website (WWW.SAM.Gov) so as to register prior to submitting your quote. The contractor shall, without additional expense to the Government, obtain all appointments, licenses and permits required to perform under this contract. Pricing may be submitted to the Contracting Spec. on the SF1449 or on a PDF Quote. All inquiries must be submitted seven (7) working days prior to closing date.
