The door does NOT need a fire rating.*** Combined Synopsis/Solicitation DSCR BLDG 80 Replace Wash Bay Doors and Personnel Door This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number SP4703-21-Q-0051 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price award. This acquisition is set-aside for 100% small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990 (Specialty Trade Work). The small business size standard is $16.5M. Department of Labor Wage Determination will be based on location of the service provided. Partial proposals will not be accepted. 1. SCOPE To replace two roll up doors and one personnel door in the building 80 wash bay that are beyond repair. 2. BACKGROUND The wash bay gets heavy use. There are two roll up doors and one personnel door that are not operational and need replacing. The two roll up doors are stuck in the open position. 3. OBJECTIVES The objective of this project is to remove and replace the listed doors and frames so that all doors operate correctly. Requirement must be completed as stated in the Statement of Work. The Period of Performance (POP) will be completion within 60 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror that meets the requirements stated in the Statement of Work and the solicitation. Also refer to clauses and provisions includes in this notice. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. If not already registered in SAM, go to the SAM website www.sam.gov to register prior to submitting your quote. All inquiries must be submitted 7 business days prior to closing date.
