This procurement is being solicited unrestricted under NAICS 333415 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. This requirement is for a new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) compliant chiller for improved functional efficiency, maintenance, and electric power usage. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate solicitation will not be issued. The contractor must assemble, deliver, and install a fully operating 130T Trane Trailer Mounted Portable Chiller and 250KW electric generator that must be an Air-Cooled Scroll Packaged Chiller. The controls and duct/pipe on the chiller must be able to interface or be connectable with systems at DSCR. The new chiller and generator must be mounted, wired, and ready for use within 90 days after contract award. This is a brand name requirement and the redacted J&A is attached. Prices must include all associated delivery costs for FOB Destination to zip code 23297. Multiple awards will not be made. Award will be made on the basis of lowest price, technically acceptable (LPTA). In order to be determined technically acceptable, quoted products must meet the technical requirements identified in the attached specification document. Additionally, the contractor must have at least five years of documented experience working on air conditioning systems (proof is required). In order to determine if the requirements can be met, product descriptions that address the requirements must be provided with the quote. If the product information is available online, a web address may be provided in lieu of the product description sheet. A government representative(s) will evaluate the information provided to determine if, in his/her opinion, the minimum requirements and intended use of the product(s) is met. The government is not required to research information outside what is provided (product specifications/web address) in order to make the determination. In addition to a price quote and product specifications, the following must be provided: completed FAR provision 52.204-24, taxpayer identification number (TIN), Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNS), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. Companies doing business with the Federal Government are required to use the System for Award Management (SAM). In order to be eligible to receive an award for this requirement, vendors must have an active SAM registration. Vendors are responsible for reviewing all posted attachments and ensuring compliance with all requirements contained therein. All questions and requests for information regarding this Request for Quote (RFQ) must be received NO LATER THAN 3pm October 23, 2020. Quotes are due by 3pm November 5, 2020.
