The purpose of this procurement is to obtain rental services to provide a temporary Natural Gas heating boiler in order to support Defense Supply Center Richmond (BLDG 32) for the 2022 heating season.... The purpose of this procurement is to obtain rental services to provide a temporary Natural Gas heating boiler in order to support Defense Supply Center Richmond (BLDG 32) for the 2022 heating season. As per the attached Statment of Work (SOW) the contractor shall provide a natural gas rental packaged boiler (design press.: 15 psi, steam capacity: 5200 lb/hr) along with lines/hardware/ductwork/etc. to connect to existing infrastructure. All connection/hook up procedures will be performed by Government personnel, only necessary material (outlined before) shall be provided by the contractor. The packaged boiler will be connected to the existing natural gas line. The boiler shall be on site and functional until May 20?? 2022. The contractor is responsible for delivery, start up, decommissioning and removal of the boiler. The contractor is also responsible for all pertinent Government maintenance personnel training. The existing chemical treatment station can be used for the temporary boiler. Location for the boiler shall be coordinated with the Government prior to mobilization and delivery.
