SCOPE: The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, and materials required to repair re-closers and replace batteries as set forth in Section 7 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS identified in the Statement of Work (SOW) BACKGROUND: Over the years, many of the re-closures have batteries that are past their expiration dates. These need to be replaced as the existing batteries won’t hold or accept a charge now. There are also control panels on some of the re-closers that require replacement due to age. OBJECTIVES: The objective of this project is restore all re-closers on post to a fully functional state of repair. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number SP4703-20-Q-0090 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This is a firm-fixed price award. This acquisition is set-aside for 100% small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210. The small business size monetary standard is $16.5 Million. Department of Labor Wage Determination will be based on location of the service provided. Partial proposals will not be accepted.
